£105.00

Limited edition art photography prints
Edition of 100
Print only (unframed), A3/30x42cm/11.7x16.5"

The Egungun (masquerade) festival is a celebration of ancient Yoruba religion and colourful traditions. Galleria Klik presents the scenes captured by Ayodele at the annual Egungun) festival of the city of Ibadan, southwestern Nigeria, West Africa. Ibadan’s urban sprawl makes it one of the largest geographical areas in Africa, and one time second to Cairo.

Atipako is one of the chief characters in the annual procession of the Ibadan Egungun (masquerade) festival. The procession of events is accompanied by the sudden and deafening punctuations of the Yoruba hunters shooting their guns into the air. The load bang of the hunter’s gun quickens the heartbeat, heightens the emotions of the crowd and bathed the atmosphere in smoke.

This is a "limited edition" C-type photography print using the very latest technology on high-quality sustainable art photography paper. The print comes with a "certificate of authenticity" which is a guarantee to you that the print has been produced directly from the artist's original.

Your art print will be shipped to you within 2-5 working days.
